Level 3 Diploma in Formwork NVQ

Who it's aimed at This qualification is for those working in this trade already and is aimed at those who are involved in assembling, installing and subsequently removing formwork for use in the construction of complex structures. The qualification requires candidates to prove they have the skills and knowledge to work with timber and proprietary formwork systems and to erect and strike proprietary formwork systems to given working instructions for at least one of the following: climbing, jumping, slip form, panel systems or soldiers and/or wallings. Additionally candidates must be competent to erect and strike timber formwork to given working instructions for at least two of the following: walls, columns, beams, soffits, bases. Entry Requirements Relevant on-site experience in construction relevant to this qualification.
