RE:GEN Academy delivers fully funded Pre-employment courses (Skills Bootcamps), giving employers a direct pipeline of candidates who already hold essential construction qualifications and have proven their commitment before they ever reach interview stage.

What is a Pre-employment Course?

Pre Employment Courses are a part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee. They are delivered in partnership with employers, further education training providers and local government. The available training and support aligns with local and national demand for skills, ensuring that people have a direct line of sight to a job and support people to get skills for life.

Pre Employment Courses are a 3-week fully funded programme that provides learners with the skills and knowledge they need to enter the Built Environment, with a focus on construction green skills. It combines classroom, practical based learning, and onsite training to offer learners a hands-on experience of the different roles in the construction industry, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and an offer of an interview with an employer upon completion.

Unlike traditional education routes, bootcamps focus on:

Job-ready skills: Training is aligned directly to employer needs.
Practical learning: Hands-on experience in real working environments.
Industry-recognised certifications : Qualifications that employers require.
Fast-track progression: Courses run 3 few weeks.

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will have the opportunity to interview for a job vacancy with one of our employer partners.

They are Free for learners aged 19+.

They are more often than not government-funded, making them accessible to individuals looking to start a new career or change direction.
