If you have completed an NVQ or another recognised qualification in the last 3 years, that is linked to the qualification you want to complete, then you may be able to use this to reduce the amount of work required.

This is called 'Recognised Prior Learning' (RPL).

We’ll review your existing qualifications, to identify what can be used towards the qualification you are interested in completing. Through a detailed gap analysis, we highlight what you’ve already achieved and what is left to be completed to cover the qualification criteria, ensuring you don’t repeat work you’ve already completed.

If necessary, we will liaise directly with the awarding body to confirm if this can be accepted, giving you a clear, efficient,
and streamlined route to achieving the qualification, and if applicable, the CSCS Card you need.
